Mmmmm, Ramen : ) (LOMO LC-A)

Mmmmm, Ramen : ), © Cary Miller 2005

This is a bowl of my favorite type of Japanese ramen, called Mabo Men. It has minced pork and tofu, and a ton of noodles. I shot this on Fuji Reala 100...for some reason I really enjoy taking food photos with my lomo...go figure ;)

American Breakfast (Lomo LC-A)

American Breakfast, © Cary Miller 2005

Seriously folks, don't try this at home! This was 4th of July breakfast (minus the Coke, which was added for fun.) Let's see, Chicken-fried steak with gravy, two poached eggs, and a goodly sized mound of hashbrowns...Mmmmm, heart-stopping!

This one was shot at my favorite local greasy spoon, the Lucky Cafe, in Sacramento, California. Looks delicious on my Lomo LC-A, etched forever on Fuji Reala 100, rated 100.

Dig in!

What Are You Lookin' At?

Yep...this woman was actually out walking her goats! They were too cute, and since my wife Lori is always talking about having goats (yes, and we live in the city,) I just thought I'd better take a picture.

Self-Portrait in Triplicate (Lomographic LC-A)

This is another of my new photos taken with a Lomo Kompact Automat, using Fuji Reala 100. Damn, I just really love this film. It seems to hold really good focus in low-light conditions...something that Fuji Superia, my previous favorite, could never do. This bad boy is cross processed in photoshop : )

Have a Badass 4th of July ; ) (Lomo LC-A)

Oh yeah...this badass, cherry red Cadillac is owned by my next door neighbor's son. It's pretty sweet in a 70's, pornstar, pimpin' sort of way ; )

Anyway, I tried a new roll of film for this, and it was Fuji Reala 100, rated 100. I was actually incredibly impressed with the results. This one had no color correction at all. One thing I noticed with this roll is that either I'm getting better at shooting inside, or the Fuji Reala really works well with indoor lighting. I got quite a few good shots indoors, with very good focus, which is usually where I have a problem. Of course, outdoors was beautiful too, as you can see : )
